Freedom Planet 2 is releasing on consoles, including the Switch, next summer

Believe it or not, it has been almost 7 years since GalaxyTrail announced that Freedom Planet 2 was in development. Since then, there have been many updates about the game from GalaxyTrail. And finally, after multiple years of development, the game is about to release.

With the game itself almost done, GalaxyTrail has officially announced on Twitter that console ports of Freedom Planet 2 are “now in development”. The game will be releasing on PC and Linux first, on September 13th, which was originally confirmed by the team earlier this year. It will be ported over to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S in the summer of 2023. Their tweet can be seen down below.
